Mountain Arts Association's Mission Statement

The Mountain Arts Association, Inc.'s mission is to create and support art related exhibitions, educational events and art appreciation in the tri-state mountain area.

The Mountain Arts Association, Inc. is a volunteer organization started by a group dedicated to the visual arts and the importance they play on the strength and beauty of a community. In the past the Mountain Arts Association, Inc. has proudly hosted one of the premier juried art festivals in North Georgia.

The MAA has also hosted many smaller events including seminars, artist workshops, art studio visits, organized trips to the High Museum in Atlanta, as well as wine tastings and silent auctions.

Our proudest achievement however is the Scholarship we are able extend to an up and coming student artist in the local high school community each year.

We hope that if you are an artist or love being involved with artists and surrounding yourself with the beauty they create that you will join us in sharing and promoting the visual arts in the North Georgia Mountains. We are always looking for volunteers to help plan events. It may be hard work but we sure have fun doing it!
